Yuba County Mounted Sheriff's Posse

The Yuba County Mounted Sheriff's Posse is headquartered in Browns Valley, at 5396 Marysville Road. Mailing address: P.O. Box 1184, Marysville, California 95901. The Posse Provides the Yuba County Sheriff's Office with a cadre of personnel, trained in search and rescue techniques, First Aid and CPR, to assist in finding lost persons. We are available to the Yuba County Sheriff's Office on a 24 hour basis, seven days a week to aid in emergency matters.

The Posse is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to such services as Search and Rescue and assistance during times of disaster. The Posse sponsors various functions throughout the year in order to develop funds to provide search and rescue equipment, as well as providing donations to various organizations requesting funds from the Posse at various times of the year.

We are proud to be able to provide these services to the local community.

The Posse, as part of their fund raising, sponsors several events each year. These events are as follows:

• Horse arena
